Description
The GE Avance CS2 is a compact, scalable, flexible anaesthesia machine that can be an integrated Carestation. The system features the most advanced design, ventilation, respiratory monitoring, and breathing system. Utilising anaesthesia delivery, patient monitoring, and data management in one machine.
The Avance CS2 anaesthesia machine ventilation capabilities use the GE 7900 Smartvent ventilator with the system, allowing the accurate and quick combination of anaesthetic gases, Air, O2, and N2O when the situation occurs. The anaesthesia system’s small breathing system volume allows an anaesthetic agent delivery response time of less than 7 seconds. The Advanced Breathing System in the Avance System helps reduce the number of tubing connections and circuit volume from the machine.
Module bays allow for the physical integration of legacy Datex-Ohmeda patient monitors and supports mounting of other GE Healthcare monitors. The open architecture design supports mounting of non-Datex-Ohmeda patient monitors, record keeping, and connections to the hospital information system.
The INview movable display arm helps keep the anaesthetist’s focus on the patient by offering control of all hemodynamic, gas delivery, anaesthetic agent, and ventilation parameters.
This anaesthesia system uses SmartVent ventilation technology offering Volume Control Ventilation with tidal volume compensation and electronic PEEP. The proven SmartVent technology features the following Ventilation Operating Modes:
- VCV: (Volume Control) Mode with tidal volume compensation
- PCV: Pressure Control Ventilation
- PCV-VG: (Pressure Controlled Ventilation-Volume Guaranteed)
- SIMV PCV-VG: (Synchronized intermittent mandatory ventilation – pressure control ventilation – volume guaranteed)
Key Features:
- 15-inch colour touchscreen display, which offers quick access settings
- Anaesthesia Display: allowing the clinician to interact with the system. The display also provides real-time patient data.
- AGSS (Anaesthesia Gas Scavenging System): Designed to safely remove excess gas from the anaesthesia machine.
- Advanced Breathing System (ABS*): Helping to ensure fast circuit response to assist clinicians with anaesthesia delivery.
- Speed: Responds to fresh gas changes rapidly even during low flow anaesthesia.
- Simplicity: Intuitive user interface uses single touch points for activating ventilation.
- Standardisation: The same breathing system can be used in Aespire or Avance platforms increasing standardisation between operating rooms.
- Ventilation Options: With ‘Flow Power Inside’ the ventilator engine can ventilate all patient types from neonates to large adults
- Vaporiser: The Avance CS2 uses the Tec series of vaporisers
- The exceptional design incorporates:
- Central brake
- Top shelf mounting rails
- Metal work surface
- Movable display arm for inbound and outboard positioning
- Multiple vaporiser positions
- Bi-level work surface illumination
- Two Drawers
- This model features a Vertical mounting rail for additional monitor.
Price is for Anaesthesia system only, monitors are available to add to this item at extra cost.
