Description
A rechargeable battery containing Lithium-ion cells, each battery contains an integrated electronic fuel gauge and a safety protection circuit. The Lithium ion batteries last longer than conventional batteries and are designed for use as a DC source for patient monitoring devices or for portable consumer electronic devices. The battery discharges on its own, even when it is not installed n the equipment. An external battery charger to charge the battery is recommended whenever possible to maintain a lower battery cell temperature during charge cycle and further extend the life of the battery.
