The GE Carescape Monitor B450 is a versatile multi-parameter monitor with a 12” LCD touchscreen display and wireless capability. This compact monitor allows clinicians to view, record and recall patient data acquired by an extensive range of physiological parameters for adult, paediatric, neonatal or veterinary patient monitoring.
The B450 offers dedicated software packages for specific care areas and a range of clinical parameters. It can incorporate add-on parameter modules for extensive monitoring capability and customisation enabled by the CARESCAPE PDM (patient data module), E-PSM (patient side module) as well as an additional single width E module. The B450 is a lightweight bedside monitor that is robust enough to meet changing patient acuity and care needs and with its portable design, detachable modules and battery power is also capable of maintaining all bedside monitoring functions during intra-hospital transport or as a stand-alone device whilst providing exceptional clinical excellence.
Designed for flexible acuity care settings, the Pages and Profiles functionality may increase workflow efficiency by allowing you to configure the monitor to unit standards and patient populations and the exceptional alarm functionality enables remote bed-to bed viewing (Auto View on Alarms), quick adjustment to all parameter limits, defining parameter limit range(s), preventing specific alarms from being turned off and setting adjustments to meet patient changing conditions may help optimise your workflow and reduce alarm fatigue.
