The compact B20 patient monitor is an intuitive, portable, multi-parameter monitor with a 10.4” screen allowing clinicians to view, record and recall patient data acquired by an extensive range of physiological parameters for adult, paediatric and neonatal monitoring.

The B20 is specifically suited to general care, but can be customised for use in a multitude of care areas and patient cases. The B20 patient monitor makes it easy to acquire accurate patient data to support timely decision-making. The system is designed to enhance the ease and reliability of monitoring with:

  • A crystal-clear monitor that lets you see the patient’s status at a glance, displaying up to six waveforms simultaneously – B20 has a 10.4″ (26.4 cm) display
  • One-button access to commonly-used functions to increase efficiency
  • Intuitive menus that reduce set-up time
  • 72-hour trend display with graphical and numerical data to review patient progress
  • Advanced alarm system with preset limits to alert caregivers to critical situations
  • With its streamlined design, the portable B20 patient monitor fits easily into crowded spaces and is easily moved to different care areas as needed.

The B20 patient monitor has been verified to work in CARESCAPE* Network and S/5 Network environments. The system has multiple mounting options and range of accessories so you can configure the workspace to meet your needs.

The B20 offers a range of clinical parameters including cardiac, hemodynamic and airway gas for adult, paediatric and neonatal patient monitoring. Displaying up to six waveforms and featuring 72-hour trending, the B20 functions superbly for a variety of care areas and is ideal for wards and general care areas.

State-of-the-art algorithm data and parameters include 3/5 lead ECG analysis for cardiac arrhythmia and event detection with GE EK-Pro, GE DINAMAP* NIBP for non-invasive blood pressure, Trusignal SpO2 for accurate saturation readings, airway gas for non-invasive respiratory monitoring as well as an extensive suite of measurements designed for neonatal patient monitoring.

The B20 is intuitive and easy to use. With 3 dedicated extension modules N-FREC, N-FCREC and N-FC, so it can be customised with a range of multi-parameter solutions depending on requirements.

The B20 is designed to function seamlessly as an intra-hospital transport monitor with detachable modules, battery power and portable design. The USB ports cater for several input devices.

The B20 can be used as a stand-alone device or have its full potential realised if it is interfaced with other equipment to form a comprehensive GE platform providing a system of care. The B20’s extensive integration capability includes for example connection to other monitors for remote viewing, connection to a monitoring station, such as the CARESCAPE CIC Pro, connection to the hospital network with S/5 Network for data communication and management, or to CARESCAPE Unity Network ID for centralising patient data.
